If you are looking for a place to catch a bite for lunch this week in the Denver area, there are plenty of restaurants with great deals currently available. Here are a few highlights:
Living Social has a deal for a nice little steak bar in the Highlands area called LoHi Steak Bar. The deal will net you a $30 restaurant credit for $15 for lunch. I’ve been to this place for dinner and the food was pretty good, although a bit pricey. With a $15 for $30 offer, you should have a good experience. Most of the online review sites have LoHi Steak Bar rated around a 3.8 (out of 5) and I would agree.
Groupon has a lunch deal for Buckhorn Exchange that will net you $25 to spend at lunch for $15. Buckhorn Exchange is a Denver landmark, as the building was a saloon originally founded in 1893. Inside, you’ll be greeted by taxidermy head of various wild animals, which could be a little off-setting to some. While their dinner menu features a ton of wild game, the lunch menu is more conservative with burgers, sandwiches & salads as the primary options.
If you’re in the mood for a sub at lunch, Groupon also has a deal for Planet Sub near 14th & California in Downtown Denver. The offer will get you $25 to spend at the restaurant for $15. $25 should be plenty to get two of their tasty subs, so make sure to bring a friend. I’ve had the “Dagwood’s Dream” there and it was very good. I’ve also wanted to try “the experience” as well.
